 For much the same reasons: to meet like-minded people in a place where we can be what we are without being met with disgusted or indignant reactions. Without being seen as perverts.

To broaden my view of things and learn with their experience.

And, who knows, to meet someone in person.

 I still have high hopes of meeting someone special. That's not to say I haven't met some wonderful people here on alt.

I am here because the currents of time brought me here, for no reason but to hear the echoes of those who cling to a similar life style. I've been on this site for more years then I care to remember, but I come back because of those who have similar interests and needs, and despite its drawbacks, it remains a comfortable place. So, I guess I am here because of time.
